1 Measuring Unit Cabinet venting system is OPEN.
2 Sample Line valve No.8 and Return Line valve No.9 to be SHUT.
3 Flush Stop valve No.17 to be SHUT.
4 Flow Sensor Flush valve No.19 to be SHUT.
5 Conect Fresh Water flexible hose.
6 Drain valve No.29 to be SHUT.
7 Flush water supply to be adequate (4-5 bar).
8 Sample Line In and Out valves No.23 / No.24 to be OPEN.
9 HI and LO Line valves to be OPEN.
10 At 5-way valve block SHUT valves C and B.
11 At 5-way valve block OPEN valves A, E and D.
12 OPEN Flush Stop valve No.17
13 OPEN Probe Flush Stop valve No.20
14 FLUSH lines and probe for 3 minutes.
15 SHUT Probe Flush Stop valve No.20
16 OPEN Flow Sensor Flush valve No.19
17 FLUSH flow sensor lines for 3 minutes.
18 At 5-way valve block SHUT valves E and D.

DISCHARGE OF DIRTY BALLAST / TEST PROCEDURE:
1 E/Room: Check that Fresh Water supply to Measuring Cell Cabinet is adequate (4-5 bar)
2 Check Fresh Water Supply valve No.34 is OPEN.
3 Check that Sample Line valve No.8 and Return Line valve No.9 are OPEN.
VALVE STATUS: E/Room: valves No.34, No.9 and No.8 are OPEN.
Flow Sensor: valves HI and LO are OPEN.
DP Transmitter Panel: valves B and C are OPEN.
Sample Line In / Out: valves No.23 / No.24 are OPEN.
Also OPEN Flush Stop valve No.17 and Probe Flush Stop valve No.20
ALL OTHER VALVES TO BE SHUT
4 LCD is in Standby Mode.
5 Press "CARGO" and type in Volume of Last Cargo carried and "ENTER".
6 Total Volume Discharged is now reset to ZERO and max quantity of oil that can be discharged is
displayed automatically (1/30000 of last parcel in ltrs).
7 Press "CALFACTOR" (1-Light products, 2-Light Crude Oil, 3-Heavy Crude Oil, 4-Fuel Oil) and "ENTER".
8 Press "SAMPLE POINT" (1-for COP, 2- for Stripping pp) and "ENTER".
9 Start up cargo discharge system, diverting into SLOP Tk. (In case of ODME testing OPEN valve No.20).
10 Press "FLUSH" and "START". Analyser and Cell are now flushed for 60 sec. The led "FLUSHING" is lit.
After 60 sec, STANDBY mode is returned to.
11 Press "DIRTY BALLAST" ans "START". Now the sample pp starts and the system enters Flushing and
Calibration sequence lasting 140 sec, during which time the led's "START UP" and "DIRTY BALLAST"
are lit. Resume operation with "STOP".
12 After 140 sec, indication of "OPENING VALVE" and printout "MONITOR STRAT" starts printing.
13 The led "STRAT UP" is replaced by "MONITORING" and Overboard Discharge "CLOSED" is replaced
by "OPEN". Printout "VALVE CHANGE" with standard print including "OVERBOARD DISCHARGE OPEN"
is printed.
14 Press "MAN" key followed by "PPM", "SPEED" or "FLOW" to simulate opening/shuting of Overboard.
15 Printing is started every 10 min or whenever any parameter is changed. When system is closed down,
an automatic Analyser and Cell flush sequence for 60 sec is initiated.
SHUTDOWN CHECK LIST:
1 SHUT Fresh Water Supply valve No.34
2 SHUT Sample Line valve No.8 and Return Line valve No.9
3 Flush water supply to be adequate (4-5 bar).
4 Connect Fresh Water flexible hose.
5 Drain valve No.29 to be SHUT.
6 Flush Stop valve No.17 to be SHUT.
7 Probe Flush Stop valve No.20 to be SHUT.
8 Flow Sensor Flush valve No.19 to be SHUT.
9 HI and LO Line valves to be OPEN.
10 At 5-way valve block SHUT valves C and B.
11 At 5-way valve block OPEN valves A, E and D.
12 Sample Line In valve No.23 to be SHUT.
13 Sample Line Out valve No.24 to be OPEN.
14 Flush Stop valve No.17 to be OPEN.
15 Probe Flush Stop valve No.20 to be OPEN.
16 FLUSH line for 3 minutes.
17 Sample Line In valve No.23 to be OPEN.
18 Sample Line Out valve No.24 to be SHUT.
19 FLUSH line for 3 minutes.
20 Sample Line In valve No.23 to be SHUT.
21 Probe Flush Stop valve No.20 to be SHUT.
